About the SGA

Represented in every phase of the university experience

The Student Government Association is the vehicle through which students take part in forming institutional policy on academic and student affairs, and speak together on matters that concern the whole student body. The ideas and projects agreed on in our meetings are steps toward a better education for every WUSOM student.

The SGA was established to be the voice of the students. It is made up of, and run entirely by, students, and it is the representative body of the students at WUSOM. A new SGA is elected each semester.

Our mission. To provide WUSOM students representation, services and advocacy by acting as a student voice for the campus community, serving as an outlet for student concerns, promoting student participation in campus life, and investigating solutions to issues that affect the campus as a whole.
